As well as high-volume hollowcore floor slab installation Gillway
Services have significant experience in erecting architectural
concrete cladding panels.
Many high profile projects have been
successfully completed including Balfour Beatty’s development at
Atlantic Quay, Glasgow. This involved the installation, line and
levelling of 300 precast architectural panels.
Other recent
projects include Whitehall Riverside, Leeds, London Gateway Hotel,
Fusion Point, Cardiff and Old Hall Street, the highest building in
Liverpool. Gillway Services are currently engaged in several
panel projects including the Masshouse Development in Birmingham
for Techrete UK and the Future Inns project in Plymouth for
Chalcroft Construction.
Gillway Services also has
considerable experience of specialist installation such as
bathroom pod installation and projects involving restricted
headroom.
Gillway Services is the main erection subcontractor to
Billington Structures Limited for Project SLAM –
the upgrading of Single Living Accommodation for the Ministry of
Defence.
